Mama's Day
Ah, Mother's Day. My new favourite 'holiday'. It was lovely - daddy got up with Finn, I slept in (til 7), I got gifts, flowers, walked to Starbucks. All before 10:30am! We went to church, had a cupcake, then off to Grandad and Grammy's for a BBQ. As an added bonus, the sun was shining all day. PERFECTION. Future Mothers Day's have a lot to live up to.

Advice Please: Sleep.
As I write this, it is 6:00am and Finn is playing with a rubber duckie in his swing. I am here, my stinging eyes half open waiting for the coffee.
A week ago, Finn came down with the flu, with the follow up act of a stuffy-nose cold. Previous to this he was waking up at about 6:30am. Sometimes even 7:00! I was fine with this. It was do-able. Then suddenly, when he was sick, he got up at 5:45. Then 5:30. Then 5:00. I hear him stirring before 5 sometimes. Rrr!
WHY. WHY. WHY. I want to know: is that normal? Why would he be doing that? Is it possible for him to go back to waking up at 6:30? (I would even take 6!) Having him wake up that early now just seems like a step back. I feed him but he doesn't go back to sleep.
So, my question is: what do you suggest? Or am I being whiny? Do you have any experience with this?
